He turned 6. He was spoilt rotten with presents. Not much more to say really! Besides, it is late and I am tired. He was given the hat at school and insisted on wearing it all evening and into the next day. It’s true he did look cute in it...

Oh, his party is next Sunday. It would have been a low key Pirate Treasure Hunt Party in our back yard - if he hadn’t invited the whole class...

I have resigned myself to spending this week getting ready. Today we went together to Party City to find pirate decorations. They turned out not to actually have any pirate decorations in stock but we came away with plenty of Made in China plastic cr*p which the T-Bot felt were the last word in party favors. So be it. It is his party after all, and my initial intentions of getting only quality prizes went out the window when I learned we were inviting 23 children.

Only 7 have RSVP’d, but according to my online research, we have to cater for many more than that, just in case. Secretly I am hoping for 7 :-)
