The yard looks like this no more!!!  Spring has Sprung and the flowers have come!

This is where I get very excited about actually having a real yard, all of my own, to do with what I will (although still not excited about having to weed it...)

Just today I noticed my bougainvillea has flowered:

One of the hibiscus plants along the back fence, which normally don’t get enough sun to flower, has taken full advantage of the bald state of our trees to produce a very pretty orange flower:

The little mystery bushes which we found buried under the creepers next to the garage have also revealed their true selves:

And new fronds are appearing everywhere by the day:

Unfortunately, the mystery shrub by the bedroom window, which my mother tells me could be something very heavily scented and exotic, remains, for the moment, a Mystery Shrub. But - do I see a little bud there? I live in hope.
